Business process changes in times of COVID-19 at the Slender Body Aesthetic Center

Abstract

The new way of doing business generated at the time of COVID-19 has significantly affected aesthetics in general, since it has been necessary to apply serious changes to their business processes. Therefore, the objective of the research was to analyze the changes of the business process at the time of COVID-19 at the Aesthetic Center Slender Body. The methodology applied was descriptive, non-experimental, with a field design, and longitudinal, the population was the staff in charge of operational management, who were interviewed with 48 items. The results indicated that, in this business, there were important weaknesses in terms of how to manage its operations, since strategies for transforming the operations of the activities were not designed at the time of COVID-19, all because the management did not practice internal communication, and therefore, the conclusion was, that the best economic results were not achieved, detracting from the business value of the management, which meant that the company’s management. As a result, processes were not automated.
