Abstract

In the communities there are usually different problems that revolve around the behavior of the individual as a social being and also in relation to the effects on physical or mental health that he or she is going through. This is how the man interested in solving these problems, inquires about them and from a scientific point of view seeks to explain the events that occur, giving way to what is called research and that is constituted as a whole systematic process, organized and objective for the construction of new knowledge. When problems arise in the social sphere, we speak of social research and when they are related to health, we refer to health research. However, both are complementary because they involve a subject that develops in society: man. Given these circumstances, it is important that health professionals and social science professionals involve aspects of both areas when conducting their research, so that they become a great scientific contribution to human development in its form (physical body) and essence (being and acting).
